Are there any problems with Peachtree when upgrading from Windows 98 to XP?

Not that I know of.

The only thing I have heard is from Peachtree Itself saying that two users (on the same computer, WinXP can fast switch users) cannot run the program at the same time.

Remember to always backup your data and don't backup again over that media until you are sure that your data is Ok after the upgrade.

Don't do it!!! We just added a new machine running XP and peachtree will execute but it takes 3 true minutes to open the register. On the 98 me machines to open the same data it takes 3 seconds.

This is a network running on a Windows 2000 server every machine works great but the XP is too slow to work on it.

I talked to Peachtree and was told they are aware of the problem but don't have an answer. I have tried everything. I went through Peachtree's whole knowledge base and nothing works.

I have resorted to having to wipe this brand new Dell and install Windows 98 on it.

Our office has Win98, 2000, and XP machines. All run about the same.

Our 98 machine is a little faster but I am talking 1%-5% not much at all.

The delay in XP is worth the stability.

Go for it.
