I am using Peachtree Complete Accounting 2002. Everytime I go in to peachtree, the system date says 3/15/03. No matter how many times I change it, every time I go back in it has changed back again! I'm not sure whats wrong. Thanks for any help!

Usually, the peachtree system date is equal to computer's system
day. So you can check and correct it.

I've checked the date on the computer, more than once. Its fine. I keep changing the system date and it keeps changing back to 3/15/03. I've never had this happen before and I have no idea whats going on.

I had this happen when I restored a back up in Peach 2002. I was able to change within Peach itself - not sure what your situation is - if you just started your year and just upgraded - one can overlook things when they get tired.... so look at your accounting periods - do they start with the right month-right year? I am curious if one makes that mistake if Peach just "goes along" and forces the system date.

The reason you are all seeing the march, 2003 date is because you restored your data most like to the "BCS" directory under peachw. It just means that if you find your data where your company is stored, it is going to be bcs which is technically saved for ptree sample companies.

The same thing happened to me when I transferred data to a new computer. Somehow the data went in to that "sample company" file. After calling Peachtree support, it was as easy as going in to the "BCS" file and changing the name of the file.
Hope this helps,
Linda
