Peachtree 6 Date problem

I am having the following problem with Peachtree V. 7, when I come to the end of the year and change the date to January 2006, I get the message that there are unposted journal entries and the date reverts to Dec. 2005. There are no journal entries, posted or unposted. I know you have the answer if you could only remind me.

Look for any items, (i.e. invoices or checks) that do not have numbers assigned to them.

If you are using "real time" posting, you may want to try this.

Go to Maintain\Company Information and change the method to "Batch Posting".

Then go back in and change it to "Real Time" again. This will post any unposted items.
