Is there a way to change printers when printing invoices/p.o.s/quotes? I want to use one printer for purchase orders and packing slips, but another (color laser) when printing invoices and quotes.

Click on "File" in the upper left corner.

Then click on "Print". A drop-down box will appear. Use the arrow to choose from all printers installed on your system.

Surely you can change the printer for each type of form.

For example if you want to change the printer for "Invoice," go to "Reports" - "Accounts Receivable," on the Report List go into the "Invoices/Credit..." folder, choose an invoice form and press the "Design" button.

The design screen for that invoice form now comes out, press the "Setup" button, and choose "Printer," press "OK" to confirm.

The wonderful thing is you can set a default printer for each form, and you may create a customized invoice with a customized default printer.

Thanks for the input. But is there no way to change printers at the time of printing a form, or printing to a device with multiple trays?

You may copy the form, set with a different printer or a different tray, identify them by giving them different names like "Invoice - HP2100 / Tray 2" etc. So, each time you print, choose the appropriate form.
