View Full Version : PT Accounting 2006 Reports Help

I am new to this forum and to PT. I have a new client who just converted from One Write Plus to Accounting 2006. In OWP, he generated and used a report called Sales Analysis. In PT the closest report I can find is the Inventory Unit Activity Report, however, it does not display the dates the items were sold or the customers that the items were sold to. Client wants to see all of this-Date, item, cost, items sold,customer id,quantity sold. Is there such a report in Accounting 2006, or maybe should he have bought Complete or Premium Accounting?
Can someone please help?!

This type of report can be had using Crystal Reports for Peachtree. Crystal Reports is an addon program for Peachtree Accounting / Peachtree Complete but comes standard with Peachtree Premium and related vertical versions. The report as you have asked for it is not part of standard Peachtree reports.

Thanks Rick, I had a feeling that was going to be the case. Unfortunately my client is pretty frugal and I doubt that he will spring for the Crystal Reports Add-on fee. Off to Excel I go! Ugh!!

You can use "Items sold to customers" to give you a daily/weekly/period/quarter/annual or custom date report. It has item/cost/customer/qty etc. Would that work?

You can also use the Select Import/Export choice on the File menu to export the Sales Journal to Excel, which will provide all of the details needed.
