I cannot open up Peachtree and I get the following message...
-Peachtree has detected that Microsoft Windows 2000 is
-installed on your computer and that you are currently logged
-on with restrictive user rights. To rund Peachtree accounting
-you must have non-restrictive (Power User or Administrator)
-rights. Check with your system administrator on how to change
-your Windows 2000 user rights.
The first problem with this is that I'm running Win 98, in which
I don't believe there are setting for user rights or types of users.
The system administrator here doesn't do anything with user rights, which I believe shouldn't be an issue, since we are a small
firm and everyone pretty much needs access to everything.
Nobody else has this problem and the server here is pretty much
just for file sharing.
Any ideas on what could be causing this or a way to fix this?
I have already tried re-installing.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jamie
