I was wondering if Peachtree has a POS system with the register and scanner and if they do, what kind of experiences have you had with them? I would be interested in hearing good and bad. Thanks.

I have a client that uses AccuPOS with Peachtree and are pretty happy with it. The sales information from the POS dumps directly into Peachtree and deducts the inventory and all.

but if you dont use inventory but still want a pos is accupos worth considering??

I suppose it's worth considering - it still takes care of the front end and recording the sale in Peachtree. I don't know what else is out there, but imagine that any POS will have an inventory component, if you don't use it, you don't use it.

Depending on your situation, just using Peachtree as the POS is an option. I have one client who does that - they have a counter where people come in and get stuff and they record the sale directly into Peachtree.
