PTC 7, IUA Report, Units sold error

Our accounting is using Peachtree Complete 7. The inventory units activity report for the period of january 2002 is showing the units sold numbers for the quanities sold in jan2002 AND jan 2001. It appears that in the begining of the month the units sold for january did not reset (or start a new january, not sure on the mechanics). This has never happened before but an early IUA report we ran for february is displaying the same problem. Any one have an idea of why this is doing this or how to fix??

The sad question is, were you using Peachtree before 2001? To say that this is a known problem might imply that it is known to Peachtree which I am in no position to speak to, however, this problem has been around in the newsgroup for quite a while. I have not seen a workaround.

We were using it prior to 2001, though at the time I was on a leave of abscence. They did experience a problem last year and some how fixed it. No one wrote down what they did though and the accountant from that time is gone. If I can not find a fix by morning I guess I will pay to ask Peachtree themselves.

Same problem here. The units sold report for January 2002 does not agree with the total sales for the month in the general ledger. Amounts in the units sold report seem to be duplicated. Run integrity check and no problems detected. Any ideas?

I just joined this forum and discovered others have had this problem. I thought I had made a mistake in my account set up. It must be a PAW bug. Have you had any response from Peachtree?

I have PAWCOM, and Mr Walraven was able to modify the program so that the PAWCOM reports are completely accurate. It has been a lifesaver for me in writing a variety of year-end reports. I am not associated with Multiware in any capacity - just a very satisfied customer.
