Hi - I am licensed to use peachtree complete 2004 -
my computer crashed <sigh> and when i couldn't find my disk to reinstall pc 2004, i just downloaded the pc 2005 trial and restored from a backup (just to use while waiting on a reorder of my disk to reinstall pc 2004)....

I then made a back up from the trial pc 2005 version
NOW.... I've reinstalled pc 2004 and it won't restore from the .ptb file (made using pc 2005) !

Is it possible (while running pc 2004) to restore from a backup made by pc 2005 ??

You will now have to purchase the latest version 2006----unless you can find a 2005 somewhere.

You may be able to purchase a license from PT for 2005.

Otherwise just wait until you get the replacement 2004 disk and then start entering missing transactions from that original 2004 backup.
