Pls Help To Delete Job Cost Options Password

Hello :D

I have some how :confused: (ok...probably know how...typing WAY TOO FAST one day last week) and now seem to have a password on the Maintain Job Cost Options and need to delete it. Can anyone help me??? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Based on your description the password is most likely the letten N or the letter n. Peachtree's password is case sensistive.

Failing this you can use Peachtree's back door program labeled UTILBA to access your company's data. If you are using Peachtree Classic, go to the Windows START button and then RUN. Type in the following command line. C:\PCA\UTILBA or the equivalent drive and path for your Peachtree program and click OK. Follow the prompts, at the MENU, select Get Passwords. When prompted for a Peachtree password enter the following number 000255.
Now select Job Cost and you will see both the Controller and the Operator passwords displayed. This is a view screen only. Exit from the UTILBA program by pressing Enter, Esc and then F10. Execute Peachtree, your Company, and then Job Cost. Once in the program and module, select Maintain Job Cost Options and procede accordingly to enter the password and to either change or remove it.

I've done this also, but tried to go into utiliba & I don't know the password. Do you have it for going in 3 times?

Go to the Peachtree folder and delete the file labeled PTC2.BIN. Now access the UTILBA program and use the Get Passwords - Password 000255 to allow access.
