Peachtree 7.0 will not let me change accounting periods

I've tried everything and it gives me a message that says there are unposted entries and it's changed to period 21. Well, period 21 is March 2006 and it doesn't change to that. It just stays on January 2006.

Has anyone ever run into this problem?

I've tried looking to see unposted entries, but there are none I can see. We are set up to post as we go and not batch post.

Switch to Batch posting. I don't remember where you do that in v.7, but in current versions, it's in Maintain, Company information.

Then post all your journals, switch back to real time and you should be fine.

Thanks so much. You're a lifesaver. I've worked at this off and on now for two weeks and not been able to use the Program because of it. It was such a simple fix. Thanks, again.
