Does anyone know of an add-on that will scan a Peachtree database to determine if a name and/or address is on the restricted list for the Office of Foreign Assets or the Bureau of Exports denied persons list?

The penalties for doing business with persons/entities on these lists are up to $1M and 10 years in prison. My company has the technology that can scan and do "fuzzy" matching, and we were wondering if anyone had already done this for Peachtree.

How much would an add-on like this be worth to you? Should we develop this for Peachtree?

You can scan you Customer list fairly easily by exporting the file and then opening it in either Excell or MS Access. This is the cheapest way to go.
If money is not a big concern, you can have an add-on built to regularly scan you customer file and give you a report. This is not a problem as long as the OFA is available in electronic form-- which I'm assuming is true.
Give me a call or an e-mail and I would be happy to work with you.
