I am new to this software. I am also having problems finding a solution to this message:

I/O Error in file 'J:\PEACHW........\UserPref.DAT'. Error Reading of Writing to the file.

Can anyone shed some light?

Rename the |UserPref.dat file and then open Peachtree. Peachtree will recreate this NON-ACCOUNTING data file, resolving the problem.
