payroll and GL

Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded from PT 8 to 2002. I noticed that when I do payroll and have a GL window opened, the GL will not update automatically when payroll is posted. This was not the case with previous versions of PT. Is there a way to automatically update GL instead of closing the GL window and then re-open it.

If you are using batch posting there is no way to automatically update the G/L. If you are using real-time posting, minimize the G/L screen while your doing P/R then maximize it when your done. It will automatically recalculate the figures. Every once in awhile it will get a wild hair and not change. All you have to do is click on options and then click ok and it will also recalculate.
