Roller on Mouse Not Working

After fighting Windows ME and numerous problems, I got a new computer with 98 which is working great once I got my data transferred. Only problem I've encountered is the "rolling" part of the mouse won't work. It works on all my other applications, just not Peachtree. Anyone ever run in to this before? Small problem, I know, but it's aggravating. ;-) Thanks for any help!

I do know that with some of the pull down menus the roller (wheel) will not work. It causes the menu to close. But anyway go to your mouse setup menu in control panel and see if maybe it is set not to work in some programs. Try different settings.

Just a note that after trying everything, I installed MS IntelliPoint (mouse software) and everythings working fine.
