View Full Version : 3rd party disability & payroll

In using PCAW 2002, we are having a problem with payroll and disability payments being paid by a 3rd party (not the company). We are required by law to show the disability payments (even if paid by a 3rd party) added to gross on the employee's W-2. We can't seem to be able to set PT up to do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our third party payroll processor also produces our W-2s. You may want to consider this option, at least for your disabled employee.

Thanks for your response!

We don't have a 3rd party payroll processor for the rest of our payroll, just that employee who is on disability. I will check to see if they can provide a W-2, but I think we still need to be able to track this in Peachtree.

Any suggestions on doing that?
