Sales tax report [Archive] - Peachtree Forums

I am using Peachtree Complete 2005. I have a problem with my sales tax report for July, 2006. Most of my business doesn't need sales tax, so my amounts are low.

Anyway, my sales tax report says I owe $124.97 but according to my invoices, I only should owe $49.xx. I am baffled why the discrepancy. Does anyone have some suggestions on what to look for?

Check to make sure that the tax code is correct in your invoices. I had that same problem and I had forgot in one of my invoices to change the item to a non-tax item. Hope it helps
