Reports for Charge types of Inventory Items

We are a service provider, so when billing we set up inventory items for the different services we offer. We set them up as Charge items in inventory since that seemed the simplest way and contained all of the information we needed. Now I cannot find a way to print a report showing me revenue for the month by inventory item because none of the reports seem to have the option to show Charge items. Is there any way to display this for Charge types? (I would switch the item type, but we have 4 years of doing it this way and it is hard to teach an old dog . . .):)
