DSL failed causing us to lose software on one of two computers. Second computer is not allowed to be on the network with lead accounting office. Do we have to back up data, delete Peachtree 2004 from both computers and then reinstall? Not a good electronics week....

thanks, greengirl

Is there anyone with a suggestion as how to get back in business? Have two user Peachtree but only one of us can access the information.

When you say you lost software...could you explain a bit more?

If you mean that due to a dsl failure your company data file was corrupted and you can not open it then you need to click on the banner at the top of this page that says "data damaged?" and have them look at your file. This happened to me 2 years ago and they were able to recover the file. Its well worth their expense.

I work with greengirls..here is the problem..the Peachtree software on my computer froze after our DSL failed, but I was able to do a company data backup and it was not corrupt. I had to reinstall the software because my computer crashed (due to another reason) but ever since I did, we both need to keep putting in our Reg#. I did get both computers to see each other once but now they cannot connect anymore. Do I need to reinstall the software on both our computers again (after backing up) ?? We have the multi-user software. Any help would be greatly appreciated
