I am getting an error message when I try to do my Peachtree online backup (I've done this many times before without any problems). I closed (and purged) a year yesterday and that's when the error message appeared. I did a data verification and no data errors were found.

I get the following error message when trying to do my online backup:

"The Data Center reported an error. Please see the log for more information." When I view the log it says, "Message from data center. The data center does not support the requested protocol version."

I am using Peachtree Premium Accctg 2006 (SR-2). Suggestions??

Contact the third party vendor that provides the On-Line Backup Service. This is not a Peachtree error message but that of the online service that you are paying to provide these backup services.

Just an FYI for folks who are using Peachtree's Online Backup.....I received an e-mail from Peachtree Customer Support that on September 29th they experienced a service outage and that's why I haven't been able to do any online backups since then. Apparently they've made some changes in this service and I'm downloading the new software (which all will have to install).
