Btrieve Error

hi,
I am trying to run this Peachtree Accounting (version 8.0) on the notebook for the first time and it comes out with this error " Btrieve error" Maximum communication buffer 50000>64512. Pls correct and restart"
I tried the software on another similar notebook ; it runs without any problem.
The only difference between the 2 notebooks is that the problem one is loaded with another acconting software (Creative software).
Is there any solution for this as the user needs to use both the software?

You need to adjust the btrieve settings, the simplest way is to apply the registry update of Peachtree 7, it support ver 8 perfectly.
