As a fairly new user to Peachtree 2002 but a former VAR for a much larger software company, I am having a hard time with some of the basic concepts of Inventory and Purchasing. I there any work arounds for
1) On the PO not being able to assign a job directly to purchase of stocked items...I don't seem to get the concept of having to do a second inventory transaction to move it from stock to the job... I have been coding my items as non-stocked but this doesn't achieve the reporting I need.
2) If I use the work around stated above the stock status report does not list the received items on the report. Am I doing something wrong in the receiving end.
