When printing checks for A/P vendors a few of the checks had more than one invoice on the remittance voucher, it dropped the detail information for one of the invoices, but did include it in the total amount of the check. This happened on a couple of the checks.
What do I do to correct or ensure this does not happen when I need to produce checks that will have up to 30 invoices on it? What type of overflow does the system provide? We are using a customized multi part check. Thanks for advise up front.

When you look at check design for the customized check you are using, how many lines of x's are on the stub area is how many invoices' information is going to print on the stub. To add information for more than the 10 invoices (which is how many is usually listed on peachtree's checks), you are going to have to add the data for more lines, however, I don't think you will be able to fit 30 on a single check. I just make sure I print 2 checks when I have more invoices than will fit. Hope this helps.

I have ten lines for custom invoice printing. It will drop the last invoice infomation on the check, if I have four invoices being paid it only lists three. If there are three invoices being paid it drops the last one and only shows two, I need to print payables that consists of up to 30 invoices for one vendor and I have never done before. Does this system automatically print the overflow on the next check and automatically void that check? I am eager yet leary to print. help!! Thanks

We have the same issue. What we do is for those checks with more than 10 invoices, we go to the A/P Reports, Check Detail, and enter the check number. It prints all of the detail pertinent to the check. None of our vendors have had a problem posting our payments.

By the way, Angelique, it does print the overflow on the next check and voids it.
