Currency Setup

Is it possible to set up a currency other than $?
We have UAE Dirhams (AED) as functional currency. But I could not find anywhere the option to change the currency from $ to AED.
Please advice.

Peachtree was designed for the American market (USA) and as such does not handle multiple currencies - dollars only.

You may want to check out another Sage Software product line labeled "Simply Accounting" which I understand comes in three languages, English, Spanish and French and handle multiple currencies.
