Balance Sheet out of balance in new fiscal year

My balance sheet is out of balance. On the closing day of the last fiscal year, it balanced. The very next day, at the start of a new fiscal year, it is unbalanced. All accounts have been reconciled in the last FY, and I can find no entries that would have caused this.

Any ideas are most appreciated. I would like to find the error, but I will settle for how to make a GJE to balance it! Thanks!

After posting, I did a search for same issue and found some possible solutions (integrity check and data repair). I'll try these and see if it helps.

I ran most of items in the Integrity Check, which didn't work, and the Repair Company, which worked. My Balance Sheet now balances.
