OK, we finally installed Peachtree on each computer and moved the data to the server with only minor hitches. Yay!!!
My question is ... initially Peachtree was installed on only one computer (mine) while I got all the information loaded and ready for the beginning of the year. Now, even though the data resides on the server, another set comes up by default on my C: drive where I originally created it. Is it safe for me to move or delete this data so I don't become confused and work in the wrong dataset? Barring that, how can I change my default opening drive from C: to P: (where we have the networked files)? And if I CAN delete all the old files, do I include the other files that were created and are in the same directory, seem to be mostly file type DDF, PTL and DAT files.
Oh, it is the 2007 Peachtree Complete Accounting Multi-User version.
Thanks for any help!
Brenda
