Changing Company Year End

Have been running Company year from October 1, 2005 to September 30, 2006.

Now want to change our year end to February 28th 2007

How to we go about doing this?? Run short period from Oct 1, 2006 to Feb 28, 2007?? Can you do this?? Run long period from Oct 1 2005 to Feb 28th 2007???

Is there somewhere in the Users Guide where we can obtain instructions

First you should consult with a tax person or the IRS about the rules on changing fiscal years. Then we can talk about the mechanics of doing it in Peachtree (which will involve rebuilding the company file)

We have no tax implications .............tax free entity

You can start a new company in Peachtree with the periods you want, then export the data from the old company and import into the new company.
