View Full Version : Select for Deposit Shuts Down PT

I'm using PT 2005. When I go to Select for Deposit to print a deposit slip, I don't see any of the current receipts. I have verified that the receipts that have been entered do not have a Deposit ID. If I try to go to a deposit that does have a Deposit ID assigned to it (ie, credit card receipts), PT says that it has generated an error and Windows is shutting it down. Any clue what this means or how to fix?

Open Peachtree and your company. Click on FILE and DATA RECOVERY. Follow the prompts while accepting all of the default values / settings. This process will force you to make a backup of your data before proceeding, so if you do not like the results following this repair attempt, you will be able to restore your data to the pre-data recovery point in time.

I tried that first. I also tried to reindex, but that didn't work either. Any other suggestions?

Attempt to duplicate the problem using one of Peachtree's sample company's. If the problem persists, then Backup your data, uninstall the program and re-install. Check for program updates, download, and install. If the problem does not repeat the the problem may be with your data files.
