Error Message "Peachw.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Window"

I am currently running release 8.0 on Windows 2000 Pro. The data files are backed up on a floppy disk. I am receiving the following error after I open the program, "Peachw.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Window. You will need to restart the program." The program then closes itself. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it 3 times and still receive this error. Please help with any comments or thoughts on how I can resolve this problem.

It sounds like you did the Windows update for Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6.0.

You need to dissable Peachtree Today or download the updates. Peachtree has and update now that you just go in the program to check for updates and it will down load what you need.
