Our organization currently uses Peachtree Accounting for Windows / Release 5.0 in a Windows 98 network environment. We are planning to purchase a new network server in the near future and would like to also upgrade our operating system to Windows 2000 at that time. Will our current version of Peachtree continue to run correctly and efficiently under this new Windows 2000 client server network? Thanks for any input!

We're not using Peachtree Accounting 5 on Windows 2000. Though, we're doubt that Peachtree will test it on Windows 2000. Of course, to have a stable environment and optimised performance, it's better to upgrade to the newest version. However, it's good if you can test it first before you migrate, if possible.
Newest version should work fine with Windows 2000, a little trouble is the setting of user rights as reflected by many users' posts in this forum.
