Importing Transactions

Some how my file has gotten corrupted. My best backup is a month behind. It is possible to restore this backup and then import the transactions which were posted into the file which has data inconsistencies into the current backup file.

I have two accounts which seem to have incorrect balances dating back from a closed period. I've done data verify, and intergrity checks which haven't fixed the problem.
