I'm having some trouble getting Peachtree 2007 premium accounting (5 user) properly installed on a windows server 2003 terminal server. When I attempt to install via the setup.exe, I run into an error stating that the program is already installed [right after putting in the serial key]. Other staff already installed the server components on the same terminal server that I'm trying to install the client program on...does this cause the problem?
Would the company data still be accessible if we were to remove the server components, and then just install it straight up, like had been done with the previous 2004 on the server in question? There is no major rush, just we use a VPN connection via branches, and wireless connections within that...and would really like to get terminal services working properly to avoid issues with dropped connections corrupting data.
