Could you please advise on how to back up my files (windows based) to floppy diskettes

The simplest way is by using the build-in backup function of Peachtree, from the "File" menu choose "Backup" and when prompted to the place to place the backup, set it to your floppy drive with an appropriate name, that's it.

However, if your Peachtree data is too much, and you need several disks, I don't think this is a safe way. For details, please check this page:
