I would like to print multiple (3) copies of the invoices on a color laser printer. The only difference that we would like between the three copies is that the 2nd and 3rd copy would have a small block of color (pink & yellow) so that it would be easily identifiable as a copy. This is the only thing keeping us from moving off of 3-up paper on our impact printer. Any suggestions?

Up to now, still I think if you want to have copies, impact printing on 3-ply, 4-ply or even more, is the best way to do so. Of course, with a color laser, you may print on different color papers or customized your forms to give different colors. However, I don't think it will be better than impact printing.

Bob,
If you don't need all three copies to print at once, then you can print an original on the fly when the invoice is entered. For the second and third copies, go to Reports, Accounts Receivable, scroll to the Invoices folder, and select the invoice form. Click Print, then choose the invoice range for the additional copies. Both the second and third sets can be generated in this fashion. As long as your invoice numbers are sequential, this method may provide the solution you need.
