I purchased Premium Manufacturing 07. Didn't care for the fact that you cannot lock users out of the Business Status screen, so I returned it. We have a 5-user license on Premium 04.

Fortunately, I only installed the upgrade on my home test machine - so this problem is only on my machine, not the other four users.

I uninstalled 07, can't get 04 to run. Have tried uninstalling 04, wiping my disc of all things PT, reinstalled a number of times, it installs, but will not run.

What am I doing wrong?

Check that the Persuasive database is not running in the background. This will prevent you from launching earlier versions of Peachtree. Check the task manager to see if it shows up there. Your 07 uninstall might not have been complete.

Open the Windows Control Panel and then click on Add/Remove programs. Look for Pervasive Software PSQL V9.1 Client and separately Pervasive System Analyzer V9.1. If found then uninstall them.
