I messed up.
For 2 years I have been using peachtree complete on my decktop (PC). I bought a new laptop, installed Peachtree complete on it, took the backup from my PC and imported all of that into the laptop. All's well so far.
I kept the laptop current for several months and then for some reason went back to the PC and entered about 10 hours of receipts into the PC and started reconcilling several months before I realized what I had done and stopped.
Goal? Somehow be able to pull out and put to disk those receipts I entered on the PC and then merge this with the receipts in the laptop.
I will then delete Peachtree from the PC since I am always on the run and would prefer to use the laptop.
I do not use complex things like payroll (I am my only employee).
I only use functions like write checks (I do that a lot), I assign splits to these checks and allocate the $$ to different jobs and/or accounts,
and I enter receipts. That is about it. I know Peachtree is way overkill but I bought it and (even though I am really lost) I must continue now.
Thanks!
