I messed up.
For 2 years I have been using peachtree complete on my decktop (PC). I bought a new laptop, installed Peachtree complete on it, took the backup from my PC and imported all of that into the laptop. All's well so far.

I kept the laptop current for several months and then for some reason went back to the PC and entered about 10 hours of receipts into the PC and started reconcilling several months before I realized what I had done and stopped.

Goal? Somehow be able to pull out and put to disk those receipts I entered on the PC and then merge this with the receipts in the laptop.
I will then delete Peachtree from the PC since I am always on the run and would prefer to use the laptop.

I do not use complex things like payroll (I am my only employee).
I only use functions like write checks (I do that a lot), I assign splits to these checks and allocate the $$ to different jobs and/or accounts,
and I enter receipts. That is about it. I know Peachtree is way overkill but I bought it and (even though I am really lost) I must continue now.
Thanks!

You can export your Cash Receipts Journal by date range on one computer and then import the same file into another. Go to FILE and Select Import / Export. Click on Accounts Receivable and then click on Cash Receipts. Choose the Date Range and then click on OPTIONS TAB and note the datapath and file name where the export is going to be placed. Click OK to export the data. Copy the exported data file to an alternative media i.e. a USB Flash Drive.

On the second computer, open Peachtree, make a data backup of your current data. Click on File, and Select for Import / Export, Accounts Rec. and Cash Receipts Journal. Click on the IMPORT icon and then on the OPTIONS Tab. Change the datapath to that of your alternative media, browse etc. until you find the previous exported file. Click OK to start the import.
