stamps.com and Peachtree 2007 Complete

Got a problem:
I would like to begin using stamps.com with Peachtree Complete 2007. The problem is that I cannot find the "internet postage" item in the services menu. I went to Peachtree’s help and plugged in "internet postage" and "stamps" and found an very small article explaining what it is. The article then gave me a link to the "Peachtree Internet postage Service". When I clicked on it, I was given a "page does not exist" error. There was a second link to get more information - but that button did not even respond to me clicking on it.

Question, If the service is not installed, how do I do so? I've looked throughout the CD and also de-installed and re-installed Peachtree and have not even seen an option to install it. Please help!

Other than that, with a small exception where Peachtree locks up my computer every once and awhile, there are really no other issues with the program.

Did you ever find out about this? I also want to use Stamps.com with 2007. I had it with earlier versions.

Peachtree no longer supports stamps.com with a direct program interface.

Thanks for the reply, when I upgraded to 2007 I could use stamps.com, but unfortunately my computer suffered a major melt down, so while rebuilding he Motherboard, etc. My son suggested upgrading the HD since it was 4 years old which made perfect sense so I did and when I reinstalled Peachtree 2007 I found that I could no longer use stamps.com. I wonder if I go back and install the previous version(2004) and then reinstall 2007 if it will be there like before the crash. Guess it can't hurt.

Hi All,

Here is an update just incase anyone is interested. I saved my 2007 company files along with a back up on a CD incase my experiment didn't work. I did have stamps.com loaded on the computer and then I proceeded to delete Peachtree 2007. Rebooted and then installed Peachtree 2004 opened one of the model companies to make sure that Stamps.com was an option. Closed it and rebooted again and then installed Peachtree 2007 and it showed my 2007 company records and then under the invoice it showed that I could print my postage through stamps.com. While I have to get buy and view my postage through stamps.com, I can print postage through Peachtree. I do know one thing, I will not be upgrading Peachtree because they do not support stamps.com as that is the reason why I had chosen them in the first place back in 2002.
