Okay I just purchased a new laptop with Vista Home and ofcourse I had to go the Peachtree website to download the Vista patch before I could even get into my Peachtree Pro but now that I have been working on company files and I am to the point of converting my reports to PDF and backing up company files I am getting nothing but errors. The message I receive when converting to PDF is "Peachtree cannot find a required file or it has been corrupted. Please reinstall Peachtree or contact Peachtree Tech Support. So theres that one!! Then when I went to back up I get a whole mess of another set of errors!! starting with "Open error. Dos code=<32> and then there's "Unable to open source" and could not open for reading: C:/progar~1\sageso~1\peacht~company......." and then finally "The following erro occurred during backup: DynaZIP error#18. The backup process was unsuccessful." Yup this has not been my tech week!!! Can someone please help with me with these issues so that I may perform a backup and convert documents. Thank you so much and I'll be forever grateful:)

Virtually yours,
Julie Wilson

This has happened to me also. By searching the Peachtree website, I found a reference that the PDF function is not compatible with Vista. My workaround is to convert to Excel.
My error message during Backup is simply that the program has stopped working, and then tells me to close the program. I get the Backup to about 99% and then the Error message flashes. This has me baffled, also.

You might check and see if CutePDF is Vista compatible. It's free and can be used anywhere you would print a report to create a pdf file instead.
