View Full Version : Bad or Missing Form File

For some reason I have lost all the forms, custom and preinstalled, for printing checks. The message I get when I try to print is "Bad or missing form file. Please reinstall Peachtree Accounting". All other forms are there for the other tasks, it just seems as though the check forms are gone. I'm using Complete 2003 on a network. Any help on how to correct is appreciated, thanks.

Reinstall Peachtree using the Program CD. This will replace all standard forms. Following that you backup your data files and then restore an older backup indicating that you want to restore ONLY the custom form files.

Assuming that you have previously used Peachtree's backup utility, then you could optionally and manually copy the *.FRM files located in your Company data folder back to the FORMS folder. This would be an alternative to the above restore custom forms from a previous backup.
