When I go to Income Statement from financial report and choose the period to look at, the dialoge box come out saying that "An error has occured in your program. to keep working anyway, click ignore and save your work in a new file . To quit this program, Click Close. You will lose imformation you entered since your last save." And i click 'Close', another box come out and say,"Peachw has caused an error in Peachw.exe. Peachw will now close." and close peachtree program. Anybody has any commence about that? I try to use the other station, the dialogue box say "PEACHW caused a General Protection fault in module PEACHW.EXE at 002F:7088". What it's mean?

Version 6 is no longer supported by Peachtree. Also, since it's 4 versions back from the current release, it's difficult for us to troubleshoot that version. You can try a couple things if you're not able to upgrade to release 2002 (version 9):
- Click on Start, Find, Files or Folders, and scan your hard drive for .TMP files. Delete any that you find. These temporary files that Windows creates can cause general protection faults when they accumulate.
- Try setting your default printer to another choice. Defective printer drivers sometimes cause strange problems.
I deleted all the .TMP files and problem still there. I have only one printer installed. so I can not change to another. What should I do? Anyway thank for your reply!!

Download a new version of your printer driver from the manufacturer's web site. Since the problem occurs when you try to print a report, the first step is to update your printer driver.

I got this error quite a bit when using version 8. Haven't gotten it since we upgraded to 2002 several months ago.
