Invalid Page Fault

I upgraded to PT 2002 (v9.0) and am having invalid page fault errors. I uninstalled v9.0 and reinstalled v8.0 and am now getting the same errors. I called tech support and they said that it is my computer (I have two, it happens on both). I went to MS website to see if I could find a solution there (tried to apply IPF answers to their programs to PT) but no luck.

Four messages have occurred, the first; "Peachw caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown>" always happens. The others occur after I close the first (then a new error message pops up) but in each instance there are only two messages total. The second message has changed as I have uninstalled and reinstalled. The other messages are: "Peachw caused an invalid page fault in kernel32.dll", "Peachw caused an invalid page fault in msvbm60.dll", and "Peachw caused an invalid page fault in mfc42.dll".

All of these messages occur within about two minutes of opening the program. They happen in the sample file, as well as my company files. I just have to leave the program open and it will happen, I'm not working on anything inparticular.

On my second computer, after I install the program and the computer restarts, I get a message saying "Windows cannot run this program because it is an invalid format." The program won't even open.

I was encountering similar problems with Peachtree 2002/9.0 recently. I uninstalled, reinstalled, then installed the 9.02 patch. I had to download this directly from the Peachtree web site, as Peachtree wouldn't stay open long enough without crashing for me to use the Check for Program Updates choice on the Services menu.
