i dont know if it is the right forum for this topic, but we need advises to know which package of Peachtree or software is more suitable to ours?

our company operates in distribution business and has over 50 store branches. estimates 5 accounting users, 5 purchase users, 5 inventory users, 5 sales users.

a. Peachtree 2007 Distributor edition
b. Peachtree 2007 Distributor edition + 2007 Accounting edition?
c. Peachtree Quantum
d. MAS 90

help us to decide, your opinion will help us.

A & B are definitely out.

Quantum may work, but it says it's only for 10 users.

For 50 stores, I'd seriously look at MAS 90 or higher.

Find a GOOD consultant - get references. Preferably from someone in your industry. I have a client who is in the midst of upgrading to Great Plains and their consultants have been so unresponsive that she's trying to get me to come in and help.

I agree with Lisa - MAS90 or greater will be necessary for 50 stores and 20 users - Quantum limits you to 10 users, the other flavors to 5. I suspect with that many stores you would max out PT's database pretty quickly. You also probably need the greater flexibility of a mid level package with that many transactions.
