Peachtree accounting version 3.5

I just started a new job at a new company that is trying to go from Peachtree Accounting 3.5 to Peachtree '07 accounting for Manufacturing. Is there any possible way to upgrade that span of accounts.

Talking to Peachtree support they said i could back up the old info and restore it to the new software but it is not making it easy on me to backup that information.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can move my information other than typing it all by hand.

NOTE - You can NOT convert Peachtree Windows 3.5 directly to Peachtree Premium for Manufacturing 2007. You must take the data through an interim conversion and then convert again to 2007. You can convert your data to Peachtree 7.0 or 8.0 and then convert from Peachtree 7.0 or 8.0 to Peachtree (14.0) 2007. Have Peachtree send you a set of disks or CD to allow for the interim conversion level.
