Peachtree 2007 .ptb Data Issue

I have a backup file (.ptb) that opens fine. I can load the company and everything seems in order. However when I try to open any data with the, the window opens and then closes right away. It does this for everything.

Is this fixable or am I just out of luck? If it is fixable, what can I do to repair it or get it working correctly? Even if I can just get the data out and copy/paste it somewhere else would be great.

Open your Company and click on FILE and DATA VERIFICATION. Follow the prompts and accept all of the default settings. Post the results.

I have not added anything in in a week or so. So does this mean that it is working as it is supposed to?

I can load Quotes from the main page image, but when I try to open it from the top menu bar it closes right away.

Does the same thing happen when you open a sample company? If it does then it could be a sign that your program needs to be repaired or reinstalled.

I have already reinstalled the program. But Just in case I am uninstalling, deleting the folder and keys, and reinstalling. Well see how it goes.

Also try ending process on all services that will allow you to end them. Then see if the same thing occurs. If not, then restart one service at a time, testing for the behavior between each one, and the last one you turn on, is the process that is conflicting with Peachtree.
