Can't delete reports

I have created customized financial statements. I have two problems. One - when I need to make a change to a finacial statement the change does not get accepted when I save it. Two - when I want to delete a report, I highlight it to delete and the delete button is activated, the report does not delete when I click Yes.
Is anyone experiencing problems deleting or changing customized forms?

From your description, you have a corrupted data file in your Company data folder labeled REPORT.DAT. This problem can be caused by an incompatible printer driver.

Backup your data files and then using Windows Exploer, migrate to your Company's data folder and rename the REPORT.DAT file to REPORT.DA_. Then copy the REPORT.DAT file from one of the sample companies i.e. BCS.

Rick's instructions will cause all of your customized reports to disappear. Before you follow those instructions, open the sample company, go to reports, financial statements, and then click on the copy button at the top of the select a report window. See if it will allow you to copy these reports to the sample company. Then follow Rick's instructions and copy them back to your company. If this does not work, I have had success with restoring the data to a different workstation that does not use the same printers and copying to the sample company, then follow Rick's instructions, then copy back to your company, make a backup and restore it back to the original computer.

If it is due to a problem with the print driver, which is usually a digital or color copier, you may see this problem again.

I changed the Default Printer on all my customized reports to Peachtree E-Mail Writer before copying them to my current company. This is a valid print driver for Peachtree. Then when I modified or deleted reports it worked. The biggest draw back was I had to change the selected printer very time I ran the customized report.
