item costing

I have been using the item costing and would like to cost our labor(not subcontractor labor) to the job. We do not use the peachtree payroll so I'm not sure how to cost the labor without using payroll. Can someone please explain in detail how to cost labor to a job without using the payroll?

You'll have to enter journal entries that are tagged to the job.
