Hi,
When I try and run either of the above listed journals in summary format, it only picks up about a 1/4 of the transactions and does not show the rest. Has anybody else ran into this issue??? or is this just a bug in the software???
Is there a trick to running the reports in summary format so it gets all the transactions??

Also one more question, can somebody explain the logic of including the cost of sales entries on the sales journal when they also have a Cost of Sales report???

Thanks

Hi, Mark

I'm sorry if I'm making you restate the obvious, but are you saying that the grand total on the summarized report and the grand total on the non-summarized report (for both the reports you mentioned) don't match? Or are you getting the same totals with fewer line items on the summarized reports than on the non-summarized reports? I'm guessing you're getting different totals, but I wanted to be sure.

I get the same grand totals but missing the info, lets say i use the date order then i only get like one or two days on asembly adj report and on the inv adj journal using account ID I only get like two account for say one or two transaction with no totals

Open the report, click on design, widen the columns. If they still do not view then it is likely that it is going past 999,999,999.99 . If that is the case then you need another program because Peachtree does not display into the billions.

No transaction goes above 999,999.99
