Import Purchase Orders

Anybody know if you can actually import a very simply designed purchase order from excel into peachtree with the import/export feature?

I'm trying to come up with better ways to issue po's - receive inventory...

The short answer is Yes, PO's can be imported from Excel. But it sounds like you want to design a PO form that could be filled out and printed from Excel, and then imported in to Peachtree. That could not be done without significant manipulation of the data to get it in to to right format.

The easiest way to understand the import format is to enter a PO in Peachtree, then export it to a csv file (File menu - Select Import/Export) which you can open in Excel.
