UserPref.dat error - HELP!

Everytime I log onto Peachtree I get the UserPref.Dat error reading or writing to the file. I have the option of "Ok" or Help. If I click OK 9 times, then I get into Peachtree. When I'm exiting peachtree it's the same process.

I've run the Integrity tests and data verification.

I've backup the company data. Installed peachtree on a different computer and restored the back up. Same problem as on the original computer!!!:mad:

Has anyone else encounter this problem?

Using Windows Explorer, migrate to your Peachtree data file folder and rename the UserPref.dat file to UserPref.old. Open Peachtree and this file will be recreated and your problem will be resolved. This file holds onto User Preferences and does not affect your accounting.
