Printing Events

I have not found a way to print Events. For instance, we have called a client many times, spoke with them, etc. How can I print out this information so that I can send it to them with a nice note.

Have you clicked the Log button on the toolbar of the Maintain Customers screen? It allows you to print the event log for a given customer.

Yes I have tried that. The problem is that it will not print all of the text from the comment area. This is true even with landscape printing. Do you know of a way to print it to a file - ie Excel? This way I could choose which comments I want to send out. Even with the filter I can not put it in look that I want. For instance, it may be only 1 invoice I want info on but not the others. I looked in the Export section and could not find a way there either.

The only other idea that I have is to look at PawCOM from www.multiwareinc.com or Crystal Reports. However, I don't think that Crystal exposes the Event file. PawCOM might, or if it doesn't, Robert Walraven may be able to get it to do so.

Yes, PawCom exposes the complete data in the Event Log, so you can create whatever kind of report you would like from the data.
